In Confucianism, rites and music need to be studied for the final purpose - to complete humanity and the center of social activities. Students are encouraged to discuss about the Confucian idea of utopia and their modern application. We will listen to the music, relish paintings and read literature. And then we will study the theory of art within art, linking to the thoughts of East Asia. According to the each historical period, we will study how the ideas of art materials change and develop. Besides, we will study how three countries of East Asia are linked. It will help to historical research on art theory of East Asia.
