The general government in our times is democracy. Regarding that political system, however, so many people currently discuss its negative aspects and limitations. Therefore the first thing we need to do is to perceive what the essence of democracy is. And next, We have to know why socio-polotical problems are arising in that system. Finally, on the basis of these understandings, we can find the solutions for the problems which are basically produced by modern democracy. For this, it will be very meaningful for us to study Oriental political ideology. In this class, more specifically, We will carefully deal with confucian political philosophy, Which is the subcategory of Oriental political ideology.
