<The 2nd Korean Philosophy and Culture Digital Convergence Talent Contest
Winner Award Ceremony>
On Jan. 5, the College of Foreign Studies held an award ceremony for the "2nd Korean Philosophy and Culture Digital Convergence Talent Contest." Following the first contest, this contest was designed to raise interest in Korean philosophy and digital humanities among undergraduate students and to enhance their ability in digital methodology. Despite the difficult demands of using the theme of Korean philosophy and digital methodology, students from each team performed it well in their own ways. The contest was conducted in the research and content categories, and two research teams and three content teams were honored. Professor Kim Dong-min, head of the College of Foreign Studies, Professor Park So-jung, who organized the main competition, and Professor Ahn Seung-woo participated in the award ceremony to deliver a message of encouragement. At the beginning of the ceremony, Professor Kim Dong-min said, "As interest in Korean philosophy and culture is increasing in the world, we are looking forward to pouring it out, especially to those who are exposed to our university and our major. Today's experience will be a great foundation for you in the future." Professor Park So-jung, who organized the contest, said, "Looking at the topics and results submitted by students from various majors who participated in the contest, it recalls the award ceremony for Convergence Education for Humanities, the predecessor of the main contest two years ago.“
