‘2022 College of Confusion Studies and Eastern Philosophy Festival’ is held successfully.
On October 25, the "2022 College of Confusion Studies and Eastern Philosophy Festival " was held at the 600th Anniversary Hall. The event was organized to draw hope for the future of the university as it entered the stage of recovering its daily life lost due to COVID-19, and 235 people, including alumni, honorary professors, instructors, researchers, and students, attended. Vice President Cho Joon-mo introduced the efforts and recent achievements of the College of Study to achieve the VISION 2030 goal, and said that the headquarters of the University of Study will also do its best to support the further development of the College of Study. Shin Jung-geun, president of the College of Study, thanked the alumni for their support, professors' hard work, and students' active participation, and hoped that this festival would overcome COVID-19 and become a milestone in the development of the College of Study.
This festival was divided into the first part of "Student Performance," the second part of "Delivery of Scholarships and Appreciation Plates," and the third part of "Dinner." In the first part of "Student Performance," the band "PeakNic" sang exciting music and songs, and students from general graduate schools also played Seongdok, Gayageum, Seoljanggu, Daegeum, piano, and trumpet, receiving cheers and applause from many alumni, instructors, and students who attended the event. In addition, the Graduate School (Director Cho Min-hwan) prepared a tea ceremony to introduce 예다(禮茶) culture to participants.
In the second part of the "Delivery of Scholarships and Appreciation Plates," scholarship certificates are delivered to Lim Gwan-heon scholarship students and appreciation plaque was given to alumni who contributed greatly to the development of the school. This semester, Lim Kwan-heon scholarship students are two students, Lee Ga-eun and Ahn Je-hyung, and Chairman Lim Kwan-heon congratulated the scholarship students in a video message and wished the development of the university and the health and happiness of those who attended the university. The alumni who received the plaque of appreciation this time are Kim Chun-ja, president of the Graduate School of Study, and alumni expressed their willingness to do their best to develop the university of study.
In the third part of the dinner, members of the College of Study, who attended the event, including alumni, instructors, students, researchers, and assistants, had a valuable time to understand each other better, build friendships, and sympathize with the better future of the College of Study. In particular, it was a valuable time for various participants, including retired honorary professors, new professors, alumni executives, and student council executives, to share their thoughts on the development of universities.
